# Print a GST invoice on A4 or thermal paper

> How to print a Validure ERP Tax Invoice on A4 or on a 58 mm or 80 mm thermal roll, and what the Rule 46 layout of the invoice includes.

You print a Validure ERP Tax Invoice from the invoice's Print menu by choosing A4, 80 mm thermal or 58 mm thermal. The A4 layout carries the details Rule 46 of the CGST Rules asks for, and the thermal layouts show the same figures on a narrow roll.

## Before you print

- You need a role that can open sales invoices.
- Fill in your company profile and set a default bank account, because both print on the invoice.
- For thermal printing, use a 58 mm or 80 mm roll printer.

## Steps to print a Validure ERP invoice

1. Open the invoice from Sales invoices, for example INV/2026-27/0081.
2. Choose Print, then A4 · Tax Invoice, 80 mm thermal or 58 mm thermal. You can also choose Save & print when you save a new invoice.
3. The print view opens without the app's menus and buttons.
4. Print from your browser's print dialog. An A4 invoice with many lines continues onto a second page.

## What a printed Validure ERP invoice shows

An A4 Tax Invoice that shows:

- the title TAX INVOICE, or BILL OF SUPPLY for composition or exempt supplies;
- your company name, address, GSTIN, state and state code;
- the customer's billing and shipping details, GSTIN and state;
- the invoice number, invoice date, due date, Place of Supply and Reverse charge (Yes or No);
- for each line, the HSN/SAC code, quantity, unit, rate, discount, taxable value and CGST and SGST or IGST;
- an HSN summary, the amount in words, your bank details and a UPI QR code for the invoice amount;
- your terms, a declaration and the authorised signatory.

The last line reads Generated with Validure ERP, and nothing else from Validure appears on your invoice.

Example (demo data): INV/2026-27/0081 prints on A4, 80 mm and 58 mm with the same grand total, ₹21,527.00.

## Common questions about printing

### Can I print receipts, quotations and purchase bills too?

Yes. Validure ERP prints quotations, purchase bills, receipts and payments as well as invoices, and receipts can also print on an 80 mm roll.

### What does the UPI QR code do?

The QR code holds a UPI payment link with your UPI ID, your name and the invoice amount, so your customer can pay by scanning it with a UPI app. In the demo company the UPI ID is not a real one, so a scan cannot pay anyone.
